ARChoices is a Medicaid program through the Department of Aging and Adult Services that includes home and community-based services for adults ages 21 through 64 with a physical disability and seniors age 65 or older. ACMC is proud to be a provider of these services in Arkansas.
Individuals must meet certain financial and physical requirements to be approved. Services that ACMC provides through the ARChoices waiver include agency attendant care, respite and targeted case management.
With agency attendant care, the plan of care from DHS will include a certain number of hours per month that we can provide a caregiver in the home of the recipient. While in the home the caregiver can assist with tasks including, but not limited to; bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, consuming meals, meal preparation, meal assistance, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands and assistance with ambulation. We will develop a service plan, with the recipient and/or their family, based on the recipient’s specific needs.
If you would like additional information on the ARChoices Waiver Program contact us at 866-935-3730 or complete an online referral form by clicking here and one of our nurses will be happy to speak with you. In addition, if you would like to complete an application for ARChoices we can assist you with this at no cost to you.
