Is ACMC licensed
Yes, ACMC is licensed by Arkansas Department of Health. All caregivers are employees supervised by a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) Client- Care Manager. Our caregiver’s are thoroughly screened prior to employment.
How do we start services with ACMC
You can reach the Select Care Administrator at 501-504-2555 Ext 2303 or fill an online referral form. An agency RN Client-Care Manger will follow up to schedule an in home assessment at no charge.During this assessment, the client’s needs are discussed and a care plan is developed based on the client preferences.
Do I have to sign an (agreement )
We ask all clients to complete a Client Service Agreement so that we can obtain all the necessary information in case of emergency in your home.
Is there a minimum weekly service requirement?
No minimum service requirements.Cost is based on the clients selection of services needed. Our caregivers are available 24/7(including holidays) to assist families.
Can I choose my caregiver
Yes, after your in home assessment, your RN Client-Care Manager will match your needs with a qualified state licensed caregiver that can provide those services.If necessary ACMC may recruit and hire a caregiver to match your unique needs. You will have the opportunity to meet the caregiver prior to paying for any services.
Are caregivers trained to care for Dementia or Alzheimer’s clients
Our Select Care Administrator is a Certified Dementia Educator, she provides additional training specific to Alzheimer’s & Dementia care to all caregivers.
